呵呵，早就承认bois是个awesome guy。
不管其他方面多强，不得不说我认为你说的几句话有问题，容易误导别人。前面也解释过了。
懂设计的工程师都不在这里出头，或者潜水，我知道有个做存储底层研发的在这论坛有id。
据我所知目前已经有很多芯片厂商推出了多款fc/sata/sas芯片以及enclosure management的CPU。不少存储成品厂商直接拿来用的。能否自主研发全套的东西，很牛。啥牌子能透露透露么？

2.AMCC(PowerPC) >>Areca
3.IBM Power PC +NB(ASIC design in DDR controler and PCI-X/PCI-E,RAID) >> Infortrend
4.X86(Xeon)>>Inventec
Basically speaking,Areca,Infortrend,Promise can design the ASIC
In china ,everyone will bee too emphasize in designing the ASIC,
but it's hard for chinese-based company now,the most important thing is to delivery the product first,
as I know most of the chinese-based company do not spend time in designing and trainning engineer,
that's hard for a company to grow up and be the ability to design the IT product.
