I want to know which other meida can be used for ISCSI besides the Ethernet,
if anyone konw that,and we will like to implement in our future product,but as I konw now,everyboday use Ethernet to implement the ISCSI controller.

It is true that one cannot know everything,
It seems like you don't know the OSI quite well, as a whole product designer,I think it is fundamental concept.
So,"Ethernet is the only solution for ISCSI", No. But as for your product,you can just ignor this,not important thing.You can just implente your controller with Ethernet port.
I guess you are not Chinese? You prefer english right? or just hide something....

bios应该是台湾的兄弟吧！虽然你们的注音输入不方便你输入简体中文，但相信能看懂简体中文的。
你们的FC转SAS，以及iSCSI转SAS卡应该都不错，不过在Xsacle 8034X上做，估计你们也没有设计太多的logic(Chip级的东西)；
本人愚钝，估计你们的设计主要是在Xsacle的OS上把各种接口(FC,iSCSI,SAS)驱动跑起来，然后在各接口之间转发包为主要思路；而且最重要的是里头的核心都是SCSI协议，不涉及存储协议的转换；
参考业界芯片厂商那样出一块小chip直接实现类似SAT的转换，要是你们能直接在介质层把FC封装的SCSI转成ethernet上的iSCSI，那估计FCoE会为你改写。

rechardluo兄，请教一下，最后你说的这块chip，我理解与FCoE是另外一种关系。以我之见你说的这种实现属于协议转换器了，FCP转ISCSI的协转。FCoE则是另一套协转。 如果在一块chip上实现多协议转换，这个就比较牛了。

I am pretty old enough,so I am the first generation in writing the NIC drivers for Accton around 18 yesrs ago,
I am also working in SCSI HBA 10 years ago,then joing Infortrend about 8 years ago,
If you know Infortrend,they design their own North bridge and the whole system firmware and AP,
so right now we can also desgin some ASIC level program by  using the FPGA/CPLD,
I am here for knowing some technical person who are specialize in SAN industry,
but till now I seem not see any good engineer here,
who I need is the person can write the code for FC2SAS/ISCSI2SAS controller
or hardware engineer in desgining the SAN mother board eand enclosure.
And in the mean time,you will soon to see my prosucts in China.
