• 3-8 years as a QA professional in testing and automation development
• Ability to translate software system architectures into an integrated approach to software test including integration / functional / system test / performance / load / stress / scalability / etc.
• Proficiency in C and Perl as drivers for automation
• Experience in Linux/Unix administration, knowledge about file system, storage, web services, or Linux kernel is desirable
• Knowledge of agile development methodology, continuous integration / build. QA experience in agile development environment is a plus
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Work well with peers, project personnel and stakeholders within and outside the organization
• Willingness to take challenge and learn new technologies continuously
• Experience of customer interaction would be a plus

• Scalable monitoring and management of networks and clusters
• Tools for distributed and parallel software deployment and networking tools like tcpdump, ethereal, nessus, nmap etc
• Requires hands on involvement in scripting, automation, benchmarking, debugging, scaling large scale server farms
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, HTTP, Web servers, DNS and caching, mail, security

Requirements:

• BE or MS or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Proficient in C or C++ programming language
• Proficient in shell , python or perl or php scripting languages
• Proficient with Unix (Linux preferred) development and execution environment
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred skills:

• Prior System Administration and Web Administration Experience is a plus
• Experience in distributed system
• Developing Monitoring INFRASTRUCTURE for applications monitoring.
• Prior experience in developing capacity planning and bench marking INFRASTRUCTURE
• Performance Tuning (UNIX, Networking, Web)
• Experience with Security, Spam and abuse related issues.
• UNIX core dump analysis. Ability to do root cause analysis.
• Debugging skills, the ability to fix system
• Experience working with offshore development teams is a plus
• Knowledge about virtualization technologies like xen is a plus
