I encountered the "Write Cache Disabled" problem today.  

A EMC engineer came here to fix  a problem of dirty cache. He used "clean cache tool" to clean all dirty cache. That tool automatically disable write cache.  After work, he left without enable write cache.

I called EMC lab. Here is the way to enable:

0)right click the arrary, choose "property"->"cache".  Here, "write cache(disabled)", no matter you choose it or not.

1)right click the arrary, choose "property"->"memory", you can see the write cache memory, e.g 1000M, set it to 0, then click on "apply", "OK"

2)Open "property"->"memory" again, set the write cache memory back to 1000M.

3)Now go to "property"->"cache", "write cache(Enabled" is shown.  Just check it.

This is a trick.  Hope this is helpful.
