Team/Project Leader
Candidate must have successful experience leading a team of software developers to design, code, unit test and support software products. The team leader must have strong written, oral and project management skills. The candidate must have demonstrated a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and competence in the English language. The team leader must also have a strong sense of urgency, motivation and excellent problem solving skills.

Responsibilities
-         Act as primary interface to the RTP co-ordinator.
-         Lead an embedded software project based in RTP that will be transitioned offshore.
-         Participate in feature requirements, design, implementation, testing, support and measurement of productivity based on established RTP standards.
-         Interface with other geographically distributed teams such as other development teams, DVT, QA, eLab, TS2 etc.
-         Handle concurrent releases and manage changing priorities.
-         Write functional, design and test documents.
-         Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups
-         Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, able to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Experience & Skills
-         Team leadership and project management
-         Familiarity with Kernel driver development in Windows is highly desirable.
-         Masters of Computer Science with 4+ years in leading software projects.
-         Must have an understanding of object-oriented concepts and methodologies.
-         Strong experience in device driver development in an embedded environment and familiar with caching techniques and algorithms.
-         Proficient at debugging applications using source level debuggers comfortable working with hardware in a lab environment.
-         Familiar with networks, network management and system management.
-         Knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Networks) is a plus.
-         Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
-         Able to travel to the US.
