BU Description
The mission of China Storage Interoperability Test team is
- Post GA RPQ tests for Operating System (open systems), HBA and Switch Interoperability and Validation for IBM Storage DS4K/6K/8K/SVC.
- Storage compatibility/certification in HA (High availability), DR (Disaster Recovery) and extended distance customer configurations.
- Application certification.
The team needs to have a good understanding of IBM Storage product, and typical deployment/configuration of large scale host/storage scenarios. Each team member need to master some advanced technology and skills, such as multi-path I/O and Storage virtualization, in a short time so make this job very challenging while with exicting working experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Work together with Storage Interoperability team for RPQ/Certification/Solution test, script development and test automation design/implementation, also will support the engagement and delivery service work for the customer.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
• Good command of both Chinese and English.
• Strong knowledge on Storage related concept & products, and related application such as Veritas, Tivoli Storage Manager, Oracle, DB2.
• Good Unix/Linux skills, such as AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Redhat, etc.
• Deep C/C++ and Unix Shel programming experiences.
• System validation experiences.
• Knowledge on System Management products.
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
• Bachelor or Master degree major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related;
• Excellent communication skill;
• Excellent written/spoken English;
• Self-motivated team player;
• Quick learner & open-minded;
• Passion for customer facing projects.
