Manager
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, with agreed-upon scope, and according to corporate quality standards
- Serves as focal point for communication to upper management, other departments and across project teams on all project information: Project status, Project changes, Project risks and Technical information (architecture, design and implementation objectives)
- Communicating product requirements to the project team,
- Defining a project development strategy, Identifying the roles and responsibilities of key project groups,
- Allocating project resources to meet project goals, Identifying project risks, and developing a project schedule with key milestones and contingency plans.
- Manage an engineering team and be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of the projects.
- Work with other managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Develops cost, schedule, and performance goals for the project; tracks progress against these goals. Responsible for managing project budget
- Coordinates and leads team communications, including: team meetings, project reviews for management, and customer reviews. Responsible for written team reports, including the overall project plan and status reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
- Good management skill with proven experience in managing software product development projects
- Knowledge of hardware and/or software development design procedures
-Working experience or knowledge of Data Storage system and/or wireless components and/or computer system development
- Good organizational, leadership, decision making and communications skills
- At least 3 years experience of R&D or relative manager experience in multinational company.
